Equipping and training Mentors and  Spiritual Life Coaches for effective disciple making

 Spiritual Life Coaching

What is a Spiritual Life Coach?

We can apply some of the concepts of a “Life Coach” to the role of “Spiritual Life Coach”; however, the Spiritual Life Coach is focused on the spiritual growth and developing the spiritual maturity of the person they are coaching, rather than on their professional or career development.

A Spiritual Life Coach is actively engaged with the person they are coaching to help them grow in their faith and spiritual character.

We can define a Spiritual Life Coach as;

A mature believer who is actively engaged in helping other believers to fulfil their calling and purpose in God.

We recognize that in each believer God has invested incredible potential for His service. Every person has received “gifts” and abilities and has been called to bear fruit for the Kingdom.

Hebrews 6:1-3

6 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, 2 instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

Ephesians 4:15

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

Jesus said in Matthew 28

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The instruction of Jesus is clear, "go and make disciples".

Spiritual Life Coaching is designed to effectively fulfill this great commission.

Equipping Spiritual Life Coaches

We provide training for Spiritual Life Coaches that  equips them to effectivly make disciples.

What is the format of the Training Modules?

The format for each module is flexible and can be adapted to the needs of your church or organisation.

We prefer to work with no more than 25 people in each session. This allows for discussion and active participation.

We suggest that each module is completed in one session of approximately 2 hours duration.

What resources do you provide?

We provide workbooks and notes for each module and also online resources.

Once we have trained the Spiritual Life Coach, we provide access to our online resources and give permission for our notes and handbooks to be used by the Spiritual Life Coach in their spiritual life coaching.

Do you provide ongoing support?

We provide ongoing support for the Spiritual Life Coaches whom we have trained. We make ourselves available online for ongoing coaching and we provide access to an online forum where Spiritual Life Coaches can share their suggestions and assist other Spiritual Life Coaches.

Are you available to conduct Spiritual Life Coaching overseas?

Depending on our schedule we are available to travel to your region. It is important that if you would like us to provide training that you email or complete the request a booking form so we can respond to your request.

What do you charge for your training?

We are flexible with our charges and open to adjusting our costs to suit your church or organisations financial means.

As a guide we would charge $75 per person per module; however, we would be willing to accept a group payment of $1500 for a group of  25 people.

The cost includes workbooks and notes and access to online resources.

For overseas applicants please contact us by email at inquiries@perspectivesint.com and we will discuss your needs and work out a suitable quote for you.
